Living Alone

since my family left for thailand yesterday, the whole house is for me.. i was so damn bloody excited, cuz it's been the first time I've had the house entirely for myself. n they had left lots of frozen food as well as preheatable food in the fridge for me. right after they left, i quickly took the chance to treat myself to a feast.

i took out a packet of frozen fish fingers from the freezer n placed it in my oven. since i wanted a feast, i had to make it look more sumptous.. wahahha.. so i digged the freezer looking for some fries, n i found potato wedges instead. even better.. dumped it into the oven too before turning the oven on. i used 'grill' mode, so the food wun get chao da n the oil will come out.. healthier, of course. i wanted to fry an egg but seems like there's no more egg in the fridge, so i thought it shd be enuf. took out a packet of frozen pea-corn-carrot mix n steamed it in a pot. once everyting was ready, i took an extra-large plate, placed the fish fingers, potato wedges n veges on the plate, den squeezed some mayonise on the small spacing left on the plate. there, i had made myself a plate of fish n chips set. to be more complete, i boiled a can of mushroom cream soup, n made myself some icy guava-aroevera fruit punch using the bottle of concentrate i found in the cupboard. haha.. best meal i've ever had at home. after the feast, washed the dishes n cleared out the trash.

i decided to spend the night with Eddy n stay at his house overnite as well cuz i wanted to spend more time wif him. juz slacked around, watched tv n slept.

when i came back this morning, i took a bath before doing all my laundry. 9 pieces of clothing for me.. i'm a bit sloppy, so i juz dumped everything into a pail, pour in some detergent n water n juz bashed the clothes repeatedly. the thing i dread most abt doing laundry is having to squeeze all the diluted detergent out from the clothes before rinsing them with clean water again, n after that u'll have to squeeze the clothes dry before hanging them. damn.. but hanging them wasn't too much of a problem.

watered the plants n fed the pets before writing this crap. aniwae, i tink i enjoy living alone much more than living wif my family. no nagging, no quarrels, no fights. juz freedom n indulgence. tink i'll rent a flat for myself the moment i finish my ns n get a stable job.

quite a fine week, but i've been suffering from depression again.. wanted to take my pills + alcohol n sleep for good, but i straightened out my thoughts again thanks to Eddy.. he always comes to my rescue sia.. haha.. brotherz forever..

aniwae went swimming with him on tues, den kayaking yest.. nothing special, but i juz enjoy every moment wif him cuz this might be the last week i can spend wif him.. cuz after dat he's bz wif camps n all dat while i might be getting enlisted..

these few days damn bz.. everyday hard to reach home before midnite, so too tired to write blog.. today finally manage to reach home early.. hmm.. a recap of wad i did:

fri: went tp to settle some stuff in the morning, den went amk to send a piece of friggin motherboard for warranty service.. after dat, went to Eddy's hse to put the motherboard there, den went to clementi to meet Eddy for dinner (he juz came back from overseas again.. was dropped off at clementi).. took train to bugis for yoshinoya tempura prawns, den went to his hse relax, tok, n fix up his computers until 12, den took bus home

sat: was literally FORCED to kbox by Gabriel.. i didn't wanna go cuz i'd have no more $ to spend if i spend my $ on kbox.. dammit.. he said 'u come down somerset 1st den we decide'.. the moment i reached there they juz walked on to kbox.. i was so damn pissed... n still quite pissed now.. after that, i met Eddy at his hse nearby for dinner cum supper, den chat n walked ard till quite late..

today: played gunbound in the morning n afternoon, den went to suntec to meet Eddy at ard 5+.. we walked ard, den somehow when we entered carrefoure this man dressed up as a pirate came to us n asked us if we wanna join some treasure hunt crap.. Eddy decided to give it a go.. i wasn't too interested at 1st, but i decided to give it a try since Eddy was going to go for it.. the game went like this.. each of us were given a set of questions, and we had to scout ard carrefoure for the answers, or it could also be iq questions, n return to the base with the answers.. the 1st 5 ppl to return would get a 'prize'. so we came up with a plan.. when we got our questions, we would see whose questions r easier, den we would abandon the harder set n we would split up to look for answers to the easier set.. so we hanged around until the game started, den we went about.. i misread one of the 'headphone' question as 'handphone', den was looking all over for handphones, n couldn't find any.. in the end i checked again, found that I was wrong n quickly went to redeemed my mistake by searching again.. got it right in the end.. but was stumped by the IQ question.. but still managed to solve it on our way back, so we managed to get the prize in the end.. hooray.. n we were the last of the 5.. so damn heng.. so wad we got.. a $10 voucher.. not too bad, considering the fact that we only spent 15 mins in total... 15 mins for $10..

after the hunt, we went down to long john silver for our dinner.. Eddy's treat.. haha.. i went home with him after that, den took bus home..
