It has been some time since I've last updated my blog huh? These few weeks have been rather busy for me to spend time at my computer. So it's time for some updates, starting frm maybe national day?

Can't believed my national day was spent playing pokemon. However, at nite, i managed to catch an eagerly anticipated movie wif Ro - Land of the Dead. We watched it at tampines mall gv as it was the only cinema with the show we wanted at a decent timing. 11.30pm, close to midnite. Before Ro reached the place, i hastily bought some fish n chicken wraps n fries at long john silver before it closed. Soon the show was starting so we bought drinks n made our way into the cinema.

The show was straight to the point, as it started off right in the middle of a zombie scene. I find the plot average. Not sure wad others would tink of the show, but we quite liked it as it was our kind of show. Zombies n gore.. Yum yum! Really loved those scenes showing the zombies feeding on the intestines of the dead ppl n not to forget my favorite part abt the zombie biting off the belly button stud of a screaming chick, complete with blood oozing out after the stud was finally torn off.. Kk, i shall stop dis bloodlust now.. =p

Like as if 2 movies in a week wasn't enough, we watched The Maid on fri - along with Andrew, Jayson, Jaya, and my sis dis time. First time i've met Jaya personally after hearing so much crappy nanchiau stories abt him.. Aniwae, I found the movie quite average. At least it didn't suck like the other locally-produced movies. Since then, 'ah soon' became quite a hot topic among us.. Wahaha

On sat i went to Ro's hse to help setup internet access on his parents' laptop, den we went to the national library near our favorite victoria street. It was the first time i've been there. Basically, we juz hanged ard there till the library closed.

Later on, we met up with Ron n Jaya, for dinner near selegie. As usual, Ro n i succumbed to the temptation of ordering a second serving of kebab, when we initially thought we would get full on the first serving of roti john.

After filling our stomachs, we decided to go for a ktv session at cuppage road, onli to find that it was fully booked.. Oh well.. So our plan b was to pay the geylang chicks a visit.. Eye-service onli, free of charge =p .. The nite was still young when we rched geylang, so we had a 2nd round of food at the famous beancurd cum youtiao stall. Once again, i decided not to order any youtiao, to find myself ending up sharing Ro's youtiao in the end.. So much for being 'too full to eat'..

Maybe it was due to the hungry ghost festival, but for some reasons the places was relatively deserted on that nite.. Most of the chicks we could find r either melayu, or they were juz plain fat, or both. Usually both. Feeling disappointed, we decided to call it a day. Ro rode mi back to my hse to get my stuff, and after that i went to his hse to stay overnite, as we would be meeting at Ron's hse rather early the next morning.

So sunday morning came, and i was woken up by Ro's dog licking my face AS USUAL. We reheated some food frm the fridge as our breakfast, then made our way to Ron's hse without much delay.

Jaya reached at ard the same time we did. After changing and leaving our stuffs at Ron's hse, we made our way to mt faber for a walk.

Call it a walk, or call it a hike, we actually got shagged out by the journey.. Despite being already tired, Ron the garang soldier decided to run up a rather huge flight of steps. After all that is wad garang soldiers r trained to do.. Meanwhile, Ro n Jaya SLOWLY made their way up, chuckling at the garang soldier giving his life to scale the flight of steps while they slowly strolled up.. Wahahaha..

We took a long break at the pavilion on the top of that particular hill, before making our way to the market near Ron's hse for lunch. We were already like so shagged out by den, dat i felt dat i did not haf much appetite. Jaya had to attend to some stuff den, so he left after lunch. We went back to Ron's hse. I had a quick shower, and Ro n mi basically spent like an hour or 2 surfing friendster. Later on in the evening, we met out with Jaya once again.

First we headed to cuppage plaza as our original intention was to go for ktv, but we suddenly had a change of plan to ask Peiwen n Huiling out for apple strudel instead. So instead of ktv, we had a quick meal at long john silver cineleisure, den went down to bugis to meet the gals.

At first i thought apple strudel was simply nothing more than apple pie, but i found dat it wasn't so.. The strudel was kindda tasty, especially when served cold. As always, Ro couldn't resist snapping pics of his own charming n mesmerizing face..

Juz after nitefall, we made our way to suntec via the sheares bridge. N so, i had my fourth movie of the wk at suntec - 7 swords, a chinese movie. As the name implies, it's abt swords n fighting.. A typical ancient-chinese show.

Thruout the show i got plagued by a serious stomachache. However i decided to hold until the show finished, as i did not want to miss part of the show.. I bolted to the nearest toilet once i was out of the cinema. The gals waited for mi outside, while Ron n Ro rode their bikes hm n Ro got his dad's car out to fetch us hm.

Dat nite when i was trying to get to slp, there was a sudden outbreak of rashes on my face.. I ignored it n tried to get to slp, n went to work as per normal the nxt day. However, the rashes came again on monday nite, n was worse than that on the previous day. I decided to go for treatment at cgh, with my bro accompanying mi. The doctor diagnosed it as allergy, and gave mi an injection to relief the irritation, as well as an mc as the injection would knock mi out n render mi unable to wake up in time for work the nxt day. Before collapsing on my bed, i shared the sandwiches my bro bought frm the sandwich machine at the hospital.

I woke up at 6pm the following day. In total i have slp for like 16 hrs, all thanx to the injection.. But i muz admit, i felt so much refreshed after the long slp.. However later on in the nite i could still fall aslp as per normal.

Thurs was quite unlucky for mi, as i met the fucker Eddy when attending some event at Tekong. He tapped mi on my back. Straight after i saw him, i looked away n dis campmate of mine asked 'your friend?'. I gave an angry 'No!' n did not talk to anyone for the entire morning. Fortunately it was a half-day so my spirits started to get high again in the afternoon. I wasn't meeting out with anyone on that nite so pokemon accompanied mi thru.

Fri was here again, n i was on half day again on fri, so i was in super-high spirits. However, i got rejected from blood donation by some bloody indian doctor due to my blocked nose, so i could onli watch Ro donate. We went back to Ro's hse after dat, n we took a nap.. Somehow i juz suddenly felt extremely tired when it came to the late afternoon, when i actually had enuf slp the previous nite n did NOT donate a single drop of my 'sacred' blood.

The nite was the time we've been eagerly looking forward to. Supper at Newton Circus with the entire gang less Branson. Basically there, we gorged ourselves with the food n beer till we felt like bursting ani moment. Cockles, BBQ chicken wings, satays, and friend oysters. The amazing part was that we actually took more than 120 shots that nite. That nite, that place. Most of us drank till we were near our limits. In fact i climbed a roadside railing when i was tipsy n i could control my landing properly n ended up spraining my ankle. Nevertheless, we still enjoyed ourselves. Later on, i went to Ron's hse to stay overnite.

Saturday, 20th August 2005

The next morning, my sprained ankle took a toll on mi, causing tremendous pain when I tried to stand up and walk. I applied some ice treatment, and took painkillers from Ron's mum. It seemed to have gotten better. Had fried beehoon for breakfast, and then we went down to get the newspaper. Later on, Ron was going to get his new handphone at Liang's Court and his sis had to be present in order to extend some contract thing, so the 3 of us took a bus there together. Bought the phone, then went to Tiong Bahru Market for lunch. The charsiew peng there rox.. n the roasted pork was damn crispy. We accompanied Maureen to Tiong Bahru Plaza, then took a bus back to Ron's house, only to discover a 2nd round of lunch waiting for us! A BIG packet of curry rice..

Later on Ron sent me to Ro's house as his computer was having some problem about automatically logging in to my MSN account and his own account at the same time. We felt like watching a movie since the rest of the Saturday was ours, and we in the end we decided on Valiant, at Tampines Mall again, as there was a suitable time slot there. However, we were running kindda late, so Ro literally sped down on his motorbike. In the end, we managed to catch the show on time. It's a damn hilarious show.. really, fucking hilarious that I couldn't stop laughing even after watching it.

After the show, we went to the playground below my house to relax n chitchat. Earlier on I was so insistent on not having dinner, and suddenly, I told Ro:

Me: "Eh Ro, I ask u a very frank question."

Ro (looking at me, puzzled): "Wad?"

Me: "Are you hungry YET?"

We looked at each other and laughed. and so I ate my own words again. We made our way to the Long John Silver nearby, and bought a meal which was enough to feed like 3 people. After that we juz continue hanging around until about 1+.

On Sunday, I was woken up by Kelvin when my sis opened the door for him and he kept walking about and brushing his body against my leg. I was getting irritated by the person who opened the door for Kelvin and shouted "WHO OPENED THE DOOR FOR HIM?!?!". I heard my sister giggle and went off. idiot..

Ron invited me over to his house later on, so we could explore his new phone together. It was basically a slow-paced relaxing afternoon, and in the evening, we met up with Ro to cut our hair at Bukit Merah. Later on at nite, we met up with Guan and went boat quay to chitchat.

Yesterday was my driving advance theory test. I can't say whether I was well prepared or not, but I definitely tried my best in memorizing the WHOLE booklet. Anyway I stepped into the test hall for like 30 mins, and came out with a 'Passed'. WOOHOO!!!

After my test I went to the airport to meet up with Ron, Guan n Jaya, as Jaya was going back to USA. Ro joined us a few moments later. We had Burger King together, before Jaya stepped into the departure gate. Looks like it's gonna be quite some time before we can get so see him again.

We hanged out at and around my house later on, and had dinner somewhere nearby. Ron went off to meet his gf later on, so Ro and I juz hanged around to tok cok.

It has been a long week.. A totally long week where I feel I've gotten alot of things done. Here's a rough breakdown:

Monday, 1st August 2005

Happened to meet Andrew at the bus-stop after work, and we chatted along the way. Anyway, I was locked out of my house cuz I left my house keys in camp, and my mum n sis decided to go out, leaving my bro sleeping at home like a log. I was standing outside the door and pressing the doorbell, calling my bro, smsing him, msning him for like 45 minutes! And worse of all my neighbors walked past with the entire family and gave me that weird look.. Sux..

Was supposed to meet Eddy to settle all our stuff once and for all, but my mum came back with dinner only at 9.30, so I tried to meet Eddy at 10.30.. Called him, and he told me he's tired so he asked to meet the next day instead, so I stayed home to play Pokemon instead..

I basically stayed at home after work, playing games. I set up a meeting with Eddy at 10.30, and at first I thought I would be going alone, when Ro called and told me that he's done with his stuff and could go along with me. I felt kindda sad after settling things with Eddy, knowing that it has officially ended. We went somewhere near my house to chat and relax. Bought some durians and longans as well. At first the longans seemed too much to finish, but we managed to finish it anyway, despite my continuous declaration of not being able to eat anymore. The uncle at the durian stall offered us the durians for 4 for $10 but I rejected him, only to regret it later.

Wednesday, 3rd August 2005 & Thursday, 4th August 2005

In the evening, I took a train to Buona Vista where Ro n Ron picked me up, and then we took a walk around Suntec and Marina, as Ron wanted to look at handphones along the way. For some reasons, my knees seemed to be feeling damn sore. We went to Boat Quay to relax and chat after that. We chatted till around 1.30, and then I decided to see the doctor and get an MC cuz I just didn't feel like going to work the next day, especially with the pain in my knees.

After Ro left, Ron brought me to SGH to get my MC. The bloody waiting time was horrid. So we waited, n waited. I saw this old guy who was bleeding badly on his head, but he was still conscious. Both Ron n mi juz felt like laughing our heads off at my poor acting-sick skills, but we had to control ourselves in case the doctor saw it and decided not to give me my MC. Some aunties were tempting us with hot drinks, and we fell for the temptation. Finally after a LONG wait, it was my turn. The doctor asked me if anyone came with me and I went "Oh, my cousin came,". I was given a choice of either medicine or injection as my remedy. Initially I choice injection to make my situation look more real, but changed my mind after the doctor said I had to stay under observation for 2 hours if I took the injection. But aniway, I managed to get my MC in the end.

Ron brought me to his house to stay for the night, and we talked cock till we fell asleep. I managed to sleep quite well, but suddenly, Ron's mum stormed into the room to wake him up. She was getting a little hyped abt some guy who fell to his death in the opposite block, which was right outside Ron's kitchen. It was freaky. The night before Ron was telling me abt how 'dirty' his neighborhood was, and the next moment someone died..

I had my breakfast, lunch and dinner at Ron's house, and spent like the whole day playing games, sleeping, and talking to Ron there. Breakfast and lunch were normal, but the dinner was JUST TOO GREAT.. Mutton curry by his dad!!

Later on at night, we met up with Ro. Just walked around Marina and relaxed there. Ron left slightly earlier, while Ro and me stayed a little longer to chitchat. At ard 12+, Ro sent me back.

Friday, 5th August 2005

After work, I went home first to get my stuff as I would be staying overnight at Ro's house that night. Met up with Ron, Ro, Andrew, Peiwen and Huiling at the Marina cinema at ard 9.20. We were going to watch Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

The show wasn't bad, surprisingly. It was superly funny from head to toe, especially the part where the DUMB Indian prince insisted on building his palace entirely out of chocolate, and then wanted to live in it. One fine day when he was having a romantic time with his concubine, the palace decided to melt and the 2 of them were running for their lives as chocolate poured down. Wahahah..

Ro n Ron fetched the gals home after the movie, while Andrew and I went up to the arcade. As usual, I played my Para Para. Andrew was watching others playing games. After Ro n Ron were back, we went downstairs to chitchat for a while, n Ron sent Andrew back while Ro sent me to his house.

Both Ro n I were getting rather tired by the time we reached his house, so we slept right after doing abit of his school project.

Saturday, 6th August 2005

I was awaken by some cold, wet sensation on my cheek. I opened my eyes to discover that it was actually Ro's dog licking my face! I almost forgot that I was at Ro's house before I woke up. Anyway, I shoved the dog away and tried to return to sleep, but couldn't find my way back to dreamland. wahhaha.

Ro woke up soon after me. We went to the kitchen to scavage for edible substances, and had quite a heavy meal before leaving the house. Half-boiled eggs, chicken cutlets, cup noodles. After that we made our way to Bukit Timah Nature Reserve, dropping by a petrol kiosk along the way to get mineral water.

I decided to take a different route from what I usually took, to make things a little more interesting for Ro. And somehow, I found a shortcut by accident, thru the Belukar tracks. We reached Rifle Range road around 30 mins faster than the amount of time I usually take to reach. Saw lots of monkeys along the way. Anyway, I somehow dropped my camera pouch without realizing it. Thinking that I would be taking the same trail back, I didn't panick.

Initially, I aimed to turn back the moment we finish the HSBC treetop walk, but along the way, I decided to extend the journey. We passed by some SAF ammo base, made jokes abt it, n took some pics there. Later on, we visited several places - HSBC treetop walk, Jelutong Tower, the Swamp Walk, and lastly, Macritchie Reservoir, before making our way back.

Looks like I ain't that unlucky after all. I managed to find my camera pouch along the way back.. wahahha.. However, Ro was having problem starting his bike. After trying for like 5 mins, he decided to try a push-start, and it worked.

Went back to Ro's house to bathe, then went to Victoria Street to feast on a well-deserved dinner. After that, we went to Ron's house, where Ron n Ro sent the gals home, while I made my way to Marina to meet them later on. We played arcade, walked around the city, then relaxed at Marina Park till 4.45am.

When we returned to the bikes, Ro realized that his helmet was stolen. FUCK.. Even the seat was slashed as well.. Felt totally disgusted by the idiot who had done that.

Another week has passed. I can say that each of my working days has been feeling longer and longer. Really no mood for work this week, so I decided to finish clearing all my offs.

Most of the time during the weekdays, I was spending time training up my Pokemons and spending time wif my buddies at nite. Wahahah.. I caught the Pokemon addiction again. Back to being the Pokemon trainer I was.

Fri nite was of course the most anticipated time of the week. Since I was at home on Fri afternoon, I woke up in the evening to find everyone in my house out, so I fixed up a quick dinner and went to Marina to meet Ro, Ron n Jayson after that. Peiwen and Huiling came along as well. We went to watch Stealth. Quite a show I liked. It was about this 3-men (or 2-men 1-woman) special air squad in the US Navy, and one day they were introduced a 4th member - a drone-aircraft, much to their dismay. The drone-aircraft, or Edi, was built on a brain based on Neural-Network technology which could simulate human or animal thinking. One fine day during a mission, the brain of Edi simply gone haywire after being struck by lightning. It began to disobey orders, and formed emotions as well as thoughts of its own. Being rebellious at first, it was later put to control by one of the pilots, who eventually put it into use by using it to rescue another one of their squadmates. In the end, Edi picked up the emotions of selflessness, and sacrificed itself to save its squad-members.

So after the show Jayson and I waited at the open-air area at Marina while Ron and Ro sent the gals back. While waiting, we witnessed this unlucky birthday boy being sabo'ed by his friends with water, soya sauce, flour and eggs. Wahahha.. They used so much water than the water actually flowed to the first story from the third storey via the staircase!

Yesterday wasn't too bad a day either. I trained my Pokemon in the afternoon, and went to meet Ro and Ron later on in the evening. We had our dinner, took a walk and played arcade in Marina, then went to Suntec. Started the Jiafang crap along the way. Read the below entry to understand what we were talking about. Later on we went to Boat Quay to have supper (Macdonalds Nuggets & Fries), relax and chitchat.

Basically had quite a normal wkend. Went walking around Suntec, PS n Orchard with Raymond. We met at PS, walked to Heerens and looked at some stuff, then to Suntec for dinner. Reached home quite early, played some games and went to sleep.

Went to Laibao's hse today to watch him play Pokemon.. Really miss those Pokemon-training days. After that we went to Parkway for dinner, and took a walk at East Coast Beach, all the way till Tanjong Rhu. Den, we headed home.

Lately, I juz realized that some of my stuff are still left at Eddy's house. Trying to contact him to get back my stuff, I fell back into the trap of the past.. Facing the same frustration I used to face when he never answered nor returned my call, never replied my sms. I still feel the same damn thing I used to face in the past. Aniwae, let's juz say that I'm cheating myself if I say that I've totally given up on him. I'm feeling terrible right now..

A rather sucky day, as I'm feeling rather down cuz of some reasons. Aniwae, I attended some system unit testing today. Was kindda pissed at the attention I've been receiving lately due to some work stuff.. Aniwae, I rushed home n then to Ray's bday celebration after the testing shit, which ended quite late at ard 6.30.

First ting I did was pass the magic candles to Chisong, who promptly kept them so Ray would not see them. Most of the people there were Ray's army friends. Did manage to get to see some of those who went Sentosa wif mi the other time. When it was time to unveil the cake, giggled to ourselves as we planted the magic candle onto Ray's cake. Lit the fire. Everyone was like delaying here and there, and worst of all, the magic candle burned at a much faster pace than normal candles! So by the time we were done with our bday song n some photo shots, only a short portion of the candle was left. However, we laughed with delight after Ray blew out the candles. The magic candle relit itself, again n again until Ray decided to yank the damn candle out. And while it was on the table, it relit again! wahahah..

I left shortly after eating the cake, as I was supposed to go Ron's hse later on to stay overnite. However, it was cancelled in the end as it was getting quite late.

As for why I'm feeling down.. All I can say is that I still can't escape from the pain given when Eddy once said this: "lose contact den lose contact loh.. I can always find new frens".. yes, the old Eddy is dead to me now.. but those words still hurt.. badly..

Today's quite a slack day at work. Conducted a house visit, and thereafter, I took the afternoon off to check out some equipment prices at Simlim.

Initially wanted to ask Ro to go Simlim along with me, but since he was still busy at sku, I decided to *try* to search for the equipment prices myself. The moment I stepped into Simlim, I felt so bloody turned off. Just like always, I seem to be having trouble doing things alone. Just felt so damn odd.. I quickly went from shop-to-shop to get the pricelists, avoiding contact with the shop ppl whenever possible. I simply ignored those shops without any distributed pricelist, until I realized that NONE of the pricelists had the barcode scanner prices, so I had no choice but to ask the sales assistant. He was friendly, but I quickly got to my point as I wasn't really in a talking mood. I decided to check out the portable harddrives at the same time. After that, I searched high and low for the IBM cdrom drive. Avoiding contact wasn't possible for that, though. As for the laptop, I quickly grabbed a pricelist as well. I chose to look at the MP3 players (checking prices for Guan) last, as I wasn't very sure abt the players, and I really need to ask around about them.

I hanged around the area for about half an hour after completing my price-hunt. I thought of hanging out over there for a longer time, but I just felt so damn sleepy and fucking tired all of a sudden. So I rushed home immediately, while sleeping on the bus along the way. I literally collapsed on my bed upon reaching home at 5pm.

I was awaken by a call at around 7pm. It was a call from camp informing me about some bad news I dun wish to mention here. Let's just say that I feel I'm over-exploited. Trying to forget everything, I had my dinner and went online. Later on, I met up with Ro and we hanged around at the playground next to my block. Juz to relax and chitchat, as usual. We hanged around till around 12.40, and even then, I still felt that time really flew. After work, that is..

I started off with a very happy morning today. My dad was driving me to camp as usual when this traffic light turned red so he had to stop for it. Just beside our car was a taxi, and behind the taxi was one ow-cheng looking car. The taxi was like 1.5 meters away from the car, but the road was slightly sloped. So I looked beside, and happened to catch the taxi slowly sliding back towards the car. I was thinking happily to myself "that's it!". 3 secs later, we heard a 'bang!', and my prediction was correct. The cab knocked rite into the car's number plate. Immediately, my dad n I bursted into a hysterical laughter. The best part was.. The driver actually came out to confront the taxi driver. It was a female, it was an aunty, and.. IT WAS AN AUNTIE FROM MY CAMP! wahahaha.. Feels ticklish whenever I think back abt dat incident..

Wow.. since I returned to work yest, I've been pushed like mad.. Pushed to my limits dat sometimes I juz felt like getting violent. Idiots who tinks I'm doing very little work when in fact I need to do double the amount of work others do. Really pisses me off.. So yesterday, I basically met up with Ro for arcade n chitchat after work till ard 2+.

N today I basically had to go back camp from 9am all the way till 10.30pm, to do some crap. After dat, Ro came to fetch me. We headed to Marina to meet Andrew, Jayson n Shuyin. We were supposed to watch SinCity, but since we had some time left before the show started, we decided to utilize it on arcade, n chitchat.

The show was actually quite interesting, although it may feel a little odd at first. It throws us into a world filled with sex, killing n violence, and almost the entire show was in black-n-white. Juz an interesting point to note - towards the end of the show, there was actually this yellow villian character, which was the ONLY colored 'thing' in the show while everything else was still in black-n-white.

There was no way I would be wasting a prized 3-day MC at home, so I just went out despite the chances that I would be caught leaving my house when I was on MC.

Hohoho.. Having an MC means sleeping past noontime. Though I was woken up by some silly renovation works from upstairs at ard 11am, I managed to fall back into my slumber until 1+.

Since I got back my Casshern VCD, I decided to utilize my afternoon watching it. I just can't figure out why I didn't really like the show when I watched it in the cinema, but yet I miss it so much that I bought the VCD anyways. Re-watching it, I find it actually quite an original and interesting movie. Hope they'll come up with part 2 one day.

Basically spent the rest of my day sleeping, and met out with Ro, Ron n Andrew at nite. Chitchatted ard Andrew's house till ard 12.

Guess wad I did again after I reached home.. Watched Casshern again, but with my bro dis time round.

Slept straight into the afternoon again, though I remember being disturbed by renovation noises still. Went online, n met Ro in the afternoon. We went to the SIR building at Lavendar, then dropped by Suntec Nokia Care Center to replace Ro's earphone. Gabriel called me on my N-Gage, where my calls from camp usually come in through. I was like 'phew.. heng it's not from camp'. So Gabriel n his dad asked mi some computer questions, and I was trying my best to give the best possible answer I could guess. However, 1 min after I hung up, my phone rang again. I glanced at the number on the caller-id..

oh shit...

It was really a call from camp. Whether you call it bad lucky or just pure coincidence. I silenced the call, n Ro rushed me home immediately. Along the way home, I managed to think up of silly tricks to weave myself out of trouble in case they were going to my house to conduct a house-visit. My plan was to have Ro come up my house while I call back to discover their intent. In the end, it was juz some small matters and they wanted to ask me some minor stuff.. So we went on with our plan. We started to head down to Jurong for some business. It was one of the longest bike rides I've ever had, n my butt was numb the moment I got down the bike. Still, it was quite a shiok ride, especially with the cool evening air along the expressway.

Another long ride back to the east, this time to Victoria Street for dinner. Headed to my neighborhood for durians n chitchat after my supper. Ron joined us at my playground later on, n we chitchat till 1+ before they left.

Thursday, 14th July

Didn't really have much idea on how to spend the last day of my MC, do I decided to finish up my website n blog. It actually managed to help me kill my entire afternoon and evening. Went to Aljunied to meet Laibao at nite, after serious brainstorming about where we should meet.

Though it was already quite late 9pm when we met up, we managed to catch some milkshake at the bubble-tea shop before it closed. Weird names for weird drinks. Mine was named 'Only', which tasted like peach. Laibao's 'Blue Coral' tasted like the white diarrhoea medicine I used to take when I was a kid.

Laibao seemed to have a craving for Macdonald's today, so we headed down to the one near Raymond's house. The moment we found our seat, we saw this Macdonald gal spanking a small little gal sitting next to us, saying "Pian4 Chi1 Pian4 He1!!" We figured that the Macdonald gal was actually the sister of that little gal, n the little gal apparently asked some strangers to buy her food. Laibao n me went on with our meals, n played with each other's new handphones. Meanwhile, the little gal seemed to have attracted lots of attention/sympathy from the other customers - lots of them juz came to talk to the gal. But yet, we juz didn't get to see her parents.

Laibao n mi actually spent ard more than half an hour at Macdonald's, playing multiplayer games wif our phones. Some bomberman-like game, but much more fun. We were having much fun trapping our enemies which were both computer-controlled, n watching how those stupid opponents fell for our traps. It was like the capture-the-flag kind of thing, whereby u have to capture ur enemies' flag n bring it back to yours.

At ard 10.30, Laibao made his way home while sending me to the bus-stop. We were making lame jokes about a song which described the different colors of balloons (Qi Qiu by Xu Zhe Pei), and we actually tried to substitude the 'Qi Qiu' with 'bao's (buns)..

Didn't get to update my blog yesterday as I was staying overnite at Ro's house. So gotta do a little bit of catching-up on that:

Woke up, packed the stuff to lend Ron, delayed abit before taking a bus to Ro's house for the usual sunday mahjong session. Was supposed to reach Ro's house at 1pm, but the bus came without any waiting, so I managed to save quite alot of time, and in the end I reached there at 12.45. Ro went out to fetch Branson, so I waited outside his house. God decided to play a prank on me and it started to drizzle. Ok, I didn't really mind the drizzle, so it got bigger.. Soon, Ron arrived, and we took shelter together under a tree outside Ro's house. At around 1.10pm, Ro sms'ed me to tell me that Branson was still at CLEMENTI when he was supposed to meet Ro at BUONA VISTA at 1pm! N suddenly, the growing drizzle turned into a DOWNPOUR.. FUCK!!..

Ro n Bran arrived right after Ron n mi were fully drenched to the skin. @#$!@$... Even Ro's dog was better off than us, having a shelter to enjoy while we were totally drenched. We went into his house, took off our shirts to dry, rampaged his kitchen n started the mahjong game.

At first, I was wondering why the game was so slow until halfway thru. I didn't know what happened, everyone juz started playing faster n faster. Being unable to follow the pace well, I started to become blur. Announcing wrong tiles when I threw them out, knocking tiles over, calling game wrongly. Ron had to go after 1 game, but since it was still raining, we continued playing until the rain stopped. In the end I lost $0.90.. But we weren't playing money aniwae.. So we cleared everything, Ron went off, Ro sent Bran home, n I followed along.

After Ro sent Bran home, we went for dinner together. At our favorite place, Victoria Street. However, both our favorite n 2nd favorite stalls were closed, leaving us no choice but to try someting else.. so we ordered from the claypot noodles stall. It proved to be satisfactory in the end, n I decided that it would be added to my favorites list as well.

After dinner we juz sat at the food center to chitchat. After some time Ron decided to meet us, so Ro drove us to his house to fetch him, n den to Marina Square. It was ard 8+ to 9+, so some of the shops were still open. We ate some ice-cream n juz walked around the place. After that, Ro sent me home to get my stuff, sent Ron home, den back to his house.

It was past midnite by the time we reached his house. I unpacked my stuff, bathed n hanged around with him. We decided to play Daidee, n I almost ended up having to shuffle cards the whole nite (thanks to my suay mouth). We got abit bored n decided to try something different - play mahjong using Poker cards. It was a really silly game based on a silly idea, but at least it kept us entertained for the rest of the night. Played till ard 3.15am, den went to sleep.

Monday, 11th July 2005

I actually did have a peaceful nite's sleep at Ro's house, except for the fact that some number I could not recognize called my fone at ard 7am.. Crazy.. Aniwae I rejected the call. I woke up at ard 11, but I juz stoned ard until Ro was up. Before we started preparing for the jog, we juz dilly-dallied ard, played wif the dog, surf silly websites, and had breakfast. We actually managed to get ready only near 1pm.

The jogging route ard Ro's house wasn't too bad. The usual kind of peaceful, private residential neighborhood. I haven't jogged for almost like 3 months, but since it was only a short jog, there wasn't any problem. At least not until I slipped off the pavement and sprained my ankle at one point. It did hurt for a while, but soon the pain was gone so we continued to jog back to his house. Fearing that the sprain might get worse later on, I applied some ice to the injury. At least, it did work wonders for the time being.

We rested for quite some time, bathed n left the house, to settle our stuff for the day. Ro had his to settle, and after that he drove me to Kaki Bukit Driving Center as I had to book my Final Theory driving test as well. The bloody queue was so damn long, so we juz sat there, poking fun of the people ard n making lame comments out of dis fat gal who was unlucky enough to be in our fields of vision. Final, my queue number was called n the guy redirected me to another counter for - more queueing.. Pissed off..

We went to Victoria Street for dinner again. This time, the stalls were all open so we ordered different food from all 3 of our favorite stalls n feasted. Complete with drinks n fruits. After that we just sat ard my place n hanged ard until 11+. When I tried to stood up, I realized that my ankle HURT like hell, cuz of the sprain I've sustained while jogging this afternoon. Shit, bone crack.. After Ro went off, I decided to get my sis to send me to the hospital to get my MC (not for treatment, of course). Ahh.. 3 days..

I'm back, again.

Since my last post in Feb, I've sort of abandoned my blog, due to lack of time, and the fact that I didn't have the energy to keep up with a blog. Finally, I've managed to found some time to redo my website design, as well as updating the blog..

Guess I can't adapt to a full working week after the recent barrage of leaves/offs/holidays. Totally shagged after work everyday, and damn mosquitoes r disrupting my sleep in the middle of the nite. Spent most of the time after work going out wif Ron n Ro, juz to relax. Took half-day leave on Thurs, to go home for a nap, see bikes wif Ron n Ro n then to Ron's hse for dinner. The playground downstairs my hse seems to be becoming one of our hangouts, and we would chitchat either there or ECP almost every nite. Some stupid SAF-related event to the zoo took up my Sat morning, depriving me of the precious sleep I really need. Ron n Andrew were having weekend duties, so I spent my Sat nite wif Ro, chitchatting near my hse. Occupied my Sunday afternoon with driving lesson, then met up with Laibao cuz he wanted to print something at my house.

Feeling abit down dis week, over some issues which has been bothering me for quite a long time. The pains of everyting n everyone changing, drifting frenships, etc. N the hate I have for SAF itself. Day by day my thoughts of joining a rebel group or someting juz bothers me more n more.

I really still hope for the day tings will change for the better. I know the old days will never come back - the days where each carefree us would go wild n enjoy ourselves like there's no tomorrow, where we would innocently enjoy n treasure all the frenships we've had. But I really do hope that there would be even better days ahead, even if tings are different from the past.

Monday:

After a stupid day of work, went out to meet Eddy for supper, as well as collect my laptop from him. He treated me to a meal of seafood at some seafood restaurant at Geylang. Took a train back to Bedok interchange, where my dad picked me up on his new Lexus n took mi for a spin. Reached home at ard 1.30am..

Tuesday (CNY Eve):

A long day. Went for my physiotherapy in the morning, den met Eddy for Long John Silver and some shopping at Bugis and Simlim. He bought a Pentax digital camera for $365, including charger and SD card. Tink I shd be getting one also when I get the $. We went back to World of Sports to get some bday gift for his dad, and we had a hard time choosing the gift until we got one finally, pressured by the fact that Seiyu was closing at 5pm on dat day, and we were damn close to the closing time...

After seeing Eddy home, I went home to rest a while and have dinner, then rushed down to Marina Leisureplex to meet Ron, Ro, Drew n Guan for movie. We watched Constantine.. Dunno is considered horror or thriller.. Got a few scenes quite scary, as demons would suddenly jump out from behind the characters.

By the time the show was over, it was already 11.55pm. 5 more mins to Chinese New Year, and we wanted to catch the fireworks at the esplanade, so we rushed down, and managed to get there on time as the Esplanade was juz opposite the leisureplex. The fireworks were much better than those on NDP, or it could be I didn't see the NDP fireworks live. We walked ard River Angpao after that, and after Guan left, we went down to Chinatown to have a look-see. The place was so damn crowded.. We had some thai coconuts there.. It was those type wif the brown thin shell instead of the thick white shell. Ro n mi decided dat 1 wasn't really enuf, so we got another 2. Unable to resist my temptation to eat, I got a taiwanese sausage as well.

We left at around close to 3, where everyone was totally shagged out. My sis came wif my mum to pick me up, and I was like "oh crap" when my mum decided to do her shopping AT THAT TIME.. I slept in the car while my sister had it parked in some carpark, and with the aircons off, it was so damn hot n stuffy despite having one of the windows left opened. When my mum came back, it was 4.30 liao.. Quickly took a bath after reaching home n hit the bed immediately after dat, setting my hp to "Priority Calls only".

Wednesday (CNY Day 1)

Having exhausted myself totally the previous nite, I decided to stay at home to slp instead of doing house-visiting. Nobody asked me out on dat day, so I was doomed to stay at home until I finally managed to get Gabriel to meet out at nite. We met at ECP, had a walk n chat, I shopped for some instant pre-cooked eggs, n my sis came to fetch Gabriel home. After dat, my sis juz drove mi ard aimlessly, until she finally got tired n decided to head home.

Thursday (CNY Day 2)

Went to my grandma's hse for CNY gathering wif my relatives in the afternoon. They had a buffet set up there, and my mum brought some more food as well. Trying to control my diet, I tried not to stuff myself to the max. Mostly spent the time there playing Taidee n chatting wif my cousin. Later on Ron n Ro wanted to play mahjong, so I got my bro to go along. We met up at Hougang where Ron had dinner at BK while we bought drinks. Ro drove us to his place, and soon we were "swimming" our way thru the mahjong tiles. I lost $2.. grr.. After the game, my dad came to fetch us home for an early retirement to bed.

Friday (Today)

Was supposed to meet up for KTV but didn't know how to get to the place, so I went straight to Ron's hse in the morning so I could take his bike there. Meeting Ro n Guan at Paradiz centre. Guan was late, so we went to play Ghost Squad at the arcade there while waiting. After he finally arrived n finished going for his "lunch", we made our way to KBox. Lunch was provided anyway, and it wasn't too bad. Chicken chop wif baked beans n fries. We sang mostly chinese songs.. I can say I really failed badly at trying to make out the lyrics of most of the songs, which was in chinese characters, except for maybe the FIR songs. We had a great time there laughing at one another's horrible singing (especially Ro's "Gypsy nu lang").

We sang till ard 3+ where we were "invited" out of the room, n we went to walk ard at Plaza Singapura after that. Guan started to feel hungry again, n we made our way down to Suntec. Bought chicken wings, a pizza n some drinks at Carrefoure (n Guan bought Sushi for his "healthy diet"), den went up to Sky Garden to tok cok n eat our stuff. Guan had to go soon, so we saw him off to Orchard, den went Novena to visit Ron's grandma, where we talked alot along the way. Next, we went to Ron's hse for dinner, den up to Mount Faber to disturb Jayson.. wahahha

Jayson was having some function up on Mount Faber, and we expected him to bring a date, n were all dying to see what sort of gal he'd brought there. When we reached the venue, we juz stood at one side n waited for him to come out. Finally after a long while, we saw him, but without any date. However, after he went to get his car, we confronted him n he said he would be fetching LOTS of passengers in his car. We rushed back to get the bikes, with the plan of trying to "stalk" him whereby one of us would go to his front n block him, where another would tailgate him. Anywae, we saw a gal who we supposed to be Jayson's date n another few fellows getting onto the car.

Jayson got lucky when Ron n Ro had some trouble moving the bikes out from where they have been parked. He managed to drive off, n Ron was having some trouble catching up with him up on the hill due to the narrow road, but we were lucky when there was a line-up of vehicles down at the foot. Ron filtered past the other cars, n went right in front of him! wahhaha.. Jayson tried to overtake Ron, but was unsuccessful. Aniwae, we had fun chasing him till somewhere near Ron's hse, where Ron decided to leave him alone. Later on we actually found out dat Ro's bike was having trouble catching up, so he missed out on the fun.. Damn..

Our final destination for the day - ECP for coconuts, sugarcane n chitchat along the beach. It happens dat Eddy's chalet was nearby, but he was probably asleep by the time Ron n Ro wanted to leave.

Haven really updated for a few days.. Let's do some catching-up now..

Went Ron's hse on Fri nite to stay overnite, tok cok n c the bday/vday gifts he bought for his gf.. hehe..

Next morning, we woke up for breakfast which his mum bought for us, den slack ard n waited for Ro to reach his hse, cuz we were going swimming together. Took Ron's bike n went to Tampines cuz Ron wanted to collect some Bah Kua from his fren. Went to camp to fetch Andrew, den we started making our way to the west.

The journey was so damn long - from east all the way to west. Instead of going to the swimming pool directly, we dropped by IMM for lunch 1st.. We walked n walked, n subconsciously walked into Macdonald's. Tried out the chicken prosperity meal - the burger sux. I bought a new pair of optical goggles from World of Sports there before we started making our way down to Jurong East Swimming Complex.

After parking the bikes at the Jurong East Sports Complex, we somehow got quite disoriented cuz the place was so damn mazy.. With a tiny bit of help from some cleaner auntie n lots of luck, we finally managed to find our way to the swimming complex.

I bought my Osprey camping bag dat day, n was worried it might now fit into the locker. Fortunately I finally managed to squeeze the whole damn ting in, at the risk of damaging my pack. I decided to take my hp down to the pool wif mi, using my Aquapac.

The artificial waves were on the moment we reached the poolside, so we hopped in without any hesitation. Didn't really dare to go very far, cuz Ron isn't quite a gd swimmer. We went to the 'Jacuzzi' to relax after dat. Turned on MP3 on my ngage, n it was really funny listening to music underwater.. wahahha

Later on, we rented a float n began trying out the slides. The previous time I tried the slide I was actually scared inside-out.. Maybe it's cuz of all the travelling in speeding vehicles, I wasn't really dat scared dis time.

Tried the artificial river n the artificial waves a number of times, until ard 4. We headed for our bath, n everyone seemed rather shagged by then. We dropped by a petrol kiosk near Ro's house, n I took Ro's bike dis time due to my big bag. Ate some ice-cream there while Ro settled some of his bike stuff, den we headed down to Queenstown for some window-shopping.

Ron n Ro went to look at some bike shops, n they saw dis Hayabusa. They actually started the engine n tried out the sound of the start-up. So they actually had the chance to listen to the engine of their dream bike, n guess wad.. Later on I saw a BMW M3 at a traffic light junction, n we purposely skipped one traffic light turn so I could see the M3 in action. I was staring at the M3 n tried to take some pics as well, n I tink the driver knew I love the car. When the light turned green for him, I heard the sound I've always wanted to hear most in my life so far.. The engine of the M3 revved at near-full power!!! Sounds a little like WRX or Evo, but the pitch was significantly higher. Really feel so damn grateful to the driver for his M3 display.

After sending Andrew home, we went to Suntec so I could get Eddy's bday present, n to play Ghost Squad as well. After lots of looking-ard I finally got a present which I'm quite confident Eddy would like. After Ghosting at Suntec, we went to my hse to discuss abt our business plans, stocking up at 7-Eleven before that. Discussion ended at 3+, where Ron n Ro made their way home.

Yesterday afternoon, went Bugis for some shopping wif Laibao. Initial intention was to get a pair of shoes for new year n to scout for the wallet Ro wanted, but as usual, I always end up buying more than wad I nid. I ended up carrying a soccer ball, a waist-pouch, a pair of socks, a pair of goggles, a pair of Adidas shoes, Ro's wallet, n a EQ Dance Club CD home. It was quite an unlucky day, as firstly, the Wallet Shop guy forgot to take out the security tag in Ro's wallet, n I was almost labelled a thief when the alarm sounded as I was walking thru the OG exit, despite having a receipt. 2nd ting was.. The security tag was still on my shoes when I left Seiyu, and the alarm actually DIDN'T sound.. in the end I discovered it onli when I got home, n had to go all the way back to Seiyu at nite juz to remove that stupid tag..

Another sucky day at work today.. Going to meet Eddy later to discuss abt some business stuff n to take back my laptop.

Yesterday nite went to Lagoon Food Village at ECP to drink coconut juice n chitchat wif Ro n Ron. Today not much either, went home straight after work n stay at home. Too tired to write much tonite, so sorry to those who haf been faithful in reading my blog.

Knocked off from work relatively punctual today, den went home to bathe n eat dinner. Received an sms from Ro asking me if I wanna 'go out relax only'. Slacked ard until Ro reached my hse, as he was driving me.

We went to Pasir Ris park for some drinks at The Reef, Fisherman's Village.. Tried the Thai coconut there, and ordered some crispy seafood combo set. The proportion of the seafood ting wasn't really satisfactory though. Slacked there, den went to the beach to play ard. We were trying to time n see who could throw a stone further into the sea, or throw it up higher into the air.. Found a few weird bones which I believed to be snake skeletons.

Eventually, I suggested going to the huge 'spider-web' there, so we made our way to the playground, where we sort of played like kids on the swings and merry-go-rounds there, without any worries abt eyes looking at us. Played wif some obstacle course as well for the fun of it. There was this HUGE satellite-like merry-go-round which was tilted at an angle, and initially Ro n mi went on to it n Ron spun us round n round. After our turn Ro managed to trick Ron into getting on the ting, n he suddenly jumped off n we started spinning Ron round n round.. wahahha.. evil..

We got quite thirsty after all the 'streneous' exercise, so we got some drinks from the vending machine n juz sat down n talked cock.. Ron asked mi if I wanna disrupt from my NS dis August to go NUS.. Aniwae we left at ard 12+.

Today left mi wif lots of tings to ponder upon:

• Still wondering if I shd still ask my dad for a car after getting my license, as I'm worried I may not be able to handle the maintenance fees n road tax.. For dat, I'm still considering a weekend car.
• Go NUS wif Ron? As per what he has mentioned, dis coming batch will give us a gd chance as competition isn't as strong, and due to some other factors as well. Sure, I'd like to take a break from ns n go back to studying, and it's a great pleasure to be able to be studying together wif Ron again. But how abt my personal spending allowance, n my car? N another issue is.. Should I wait for Eddy instead, cuz dat's wad we initially planned for? I dunno. In the end we decided to pay for our reservation of our places first, den take more time to decide.

Went to Orchard lib wif Ron in the early afternoon cuz he wanted to look for some books there for my cousin. Wanted to find some books on game programming n design, but all the bloody books are on load. Borrowed a sea kayaking book n car book in the end.

I took Ron's bike to Simlim where we would be meeting Ro next, but we happened to meet him on the road along the way. After Ron n Ro parked their bikes, we went get the stuff for Ro's wireless LAN. Exceeded my original quotation, but Ro's dad was willing to pay more, so we went with it. Next, we went ard looking for aquarium shops to get some young terrapins for keeping n releasing when they are old enough. We tried Sungei Road, but didn't manage to find any terrapins. The only 2 aquarium shops there ran out of stock. In the end we went to some place near Ron's house to get them. We cleared one of the shops of terrapins, then went on to the next. I bought 4 in total, Ro bought 8. Aearon was buying some food back for his dad, so I took Ro's bike to his hse to help him fix up his wireless LAN. Having to carry lots of stuff by hand while riding on Ro's bike wasn't easy, but still managable.

I released my terrapins from the plastic bags upon reaching Ro's hse, and placed them into a tuppleware container instead. I took quite long to fix up the wireless LAN stuff, and it was about to reach 9 by the time I finished. We went back to Ron's hse to meet up wif him, den went to Tampines so Ron could pass the book he borrowed to my cousin. Went to Bedok 85 market for our dinner. The ba cho mee didn't really fill us up enough, so we ordered a spree of dimsum n a bowl of rice dumpling peanut soup as well. After dinner n some chatting, we made our way to ECP, juz sitting there n toking cock, n abt how hurtful it is when ur best buddy changes to a totally diff person, etc.. Stayed there till 12+, had some coconut juice n they sent mi home.

After being woken up by my sis for some boliao issues in the morning, had 8 hotdogs n 2 pieces of bread for breakfast. Dropped by CGH to visit my bro n grabbed another hotdog as well as a carrot cake from the cafe there. My sis drove me to my grandma's place to visit her, and suddenly I realized that I was running late for meeting Laibao.

Took a train from Serangoon all the way to Bugis, hoping dat I wouldn't run late. But there's some kids playing on the escalator n blocking the way, causing me to miss a train. "oh shit..", i thought as I looked at the LCD.. 6 mins to next train..

Laibao had gone up to Kinokuniya to look ard while waiting for my arrival, so I went up to look for him there after I reached Bugis. As Laibao didn't have any intentions to do any cny shopping, we went straight to Simlim as I wanted to check out some prices n wireless router stuff for Ro, as well as keep a lookout for any potential digital cameras.

Jayson drove Ron n Ro to pick me up at Simlim in the evening. We went to Victoria Street for meepok, den Jay drove us up Mt Faber to check out some place there. Went to Ron's hse to get Ro's bike which was parked there, den we made our way to Ro's hse to get his car as Jayson would be going off soon.

Slacked ard outside Ro's hse for a while before going to some arcade at Clarke Quay to pick Andrew up. We went to my hse and slacked ard there, as well as to get my terrapins which Ro n I were going to set free. Ron was knocked out by the Z monster on my bed, while Andrew was entertained by my Flame of Recca comics, and I was trying to demonstrate HL2 to Ro. We washed the tank before leaving, so my terrapins could at least spend their last moments wif mi in a clean tank.

Next, Ro drove us to some pond at ECP, so we could set the terrapins free. Ro n I took a terrapin each, and released them at the edge of the pond. The terrapins seemed quite lost in their new environment.. Hope they can adapt n survive there..

Our final destination for the day - the arcade at Marina Bay. Played the usual, and Ro drove mi home after dat.. Enjoyable day.

After lessons yesterday, went hospital to visit my bro, den went home for dinner, bath n slp. My energy level seems to be dropping tremendously these few days, and I can sleep as early as 11 and still wake up at 7 feeling tired. Can remember myself waking up a few times before it's the actual time to wake up, though.

My dad's car broke down in the morning due to engine overheat while driving me to CCK for my lessons. Tink I scared liao, next time drive haf to keep monitoring the temperature meter. Today's the last day of my course, and I got to finish and leave early. Immediately, I made my way to Ron's hse, and reached at around 4.30, and Ro was already there. We went to somewhere in the neighborhood to send some postcards, buy flowers, buy fish food n buy Ron's father's food. I spotted a flying lizard on a tree near the post office, and I actually provoked by throwing twigs at it, it just to watch it fly. It performed it's stunt once, but on the 2nd time when I actually wanted to show Ron that the lizard can actually *fly*, I kept missing, and in the end, it climbed higher n higher into the treetop where by twigs couldn't reach at all.

After getting everyting done, we went back to Ron's hse to slack for a while, den went to Victoria Street for Meepok, much to Ron's reluctance of eating meepok again.. wahahah.. I took Ron's bike there, n the evening traffic was so damn heavy along the way dat Aearon was cursing n swearing along the entire journey there.

We made our way to our favorite spot after our dinner - the arcade at Marina Bay. I 4got to bring my Ghost Squad card today, so I played using Ron's card. I tried out some sniper rifle in the game today (SPR11), and found that it actually boosts my accuracy rating by alot (normally i can only get 1700+ or so, whereas I could get 26000 with dat rifle). As usual, I played a few games of Para Para n Percussion Freaks. In addition, I tried the guitar simulator with Aearon, and found dat it's actually quite a fun game as well.

Made our way to boat quay at ard 10+, and juz sat there, tok cok, and tell lame jokes/riddles. Haf to admit that some of the lame jokes are actually quite funny.. After it was past midnite, Ron sent mi home n we sat downstairs at my void deck to tok cok for a while n rest, cuz Ron was getting sleepy. Chatted till he was ready to go.

Both yesterday n today had been long days for mi.. Yesterday work until late late, den drop by hospital to visit my brother who's having dengue fever.. Today got lessons until late late oso (but better than going back to my camp..), den went visit him at hospital again..

Guess I gotta log out from here early tonite cuz I've still got lots of stuff to settle..

I was forced to clear my remaining half-day off today, so I was left with a free afternoon/evening. Met up with Raymond at Bugis, to do MORE cny shopping. At Seiyu, I saw this cool Kappa windbreaker for 39.90, and couldn't resist it, so there I went with my NETs. Looked at some shoes, only to realize that I really couldn't afford ANY of them, except the stupid New Balance ones, which, obviously, I ain't gonna buy even if I'm paid a million bucks to do so.

Soon, we left for Bugis Village, where I succumbed to the temptation of getting a pair of berms/3-quarters. Raymond got his pair of jeans at $18 from some shops on the 2nd storey. There were really soo many variety and shops there that we decided to skip some cuz we were juz too lazy to walk thru all of them.

Raymond wanted to go Sim Lim Square to look ard for nothing in particular, so I decided to take the chance to look ard to chk out the price of a digital camera as well as a wireless router/wireless usb adapter. On a few occasions, I got tempted to make purchases again, and Raymond had to LITERALLY stop me by pulling me away from the source of temptation..

In the evening, we started making our way back to Raymond's house as I wanted to duplicate some of his CDs to bring home, as well as install some stuff on his N-Gage. Slowly made my way home as I didn't wanna reach home too early.

Could barely manage to open my eyes when I heard my fone ring dis morning. It was Eddy, asking me if I wanted to go Changi Village for breakfast, since he'd be going home from there in the morning. I slacked for a while, den went to have Nasi Lemak wif him. We had 4 mugs of sugar cane juice in total. Choon Huat wasn't open until I finished my nasi lemak, and by then I was too full to eat anymore.

After breakfast we went ard to look at fishing equipment. I bought dis 3-piece telescope rod which feels extremely strong. We took a bus to Tampines cuz Eddy wanted to take the train home, and I bought some blank CDs from Challenger along the way. Initially I intended to see Eddy home and then go home and sleep, but halfway Laibao talked about some sales at Safe Superstore and so I headed to Laibao's hse after seeing Eddy home, leaving my rod and CDs at his house. Watched Laibao play Final Fantasy at his hse and had lunch there, and we went downstairs to Safe at ard 3.30.

Initially I was considering getting a microwave oven for my room, but decided that it would be too much madness to do so. Instead I juz looked around, while Laibao looked for his VCD player and settled the payment. We went home shortly after that. Guess I'm really too tired lately.. I took a bath immediately upon reaching home, ate some stuff, and dropped dead on my bed, only to wake up at 11pm.

Still so tired now though..

In the late morning, I burned some CD, then went to my cousin's house to help her reformat and restore her computer. Had lunch at her house.. My aunt's deep-fried prawn fritters rock~ Due to my inexperience in wireless LAN n stuff like that, it took me more than 3 hours to restore her computer. I realized that I was running late for my meet-out with my Poly Yr 3 classmates, so I left her to do some installation herself, and took a cab down to Clarke Quay to meet them.

The malay cab driver who drove me there is probably the best cab driver I've encountered so far. He was frenly, drove safely, and was damn easy-going. My final fare was $12.20, and he decided to charge me $12. Later on, he lowered the fare further down to $10. Too bad I forgot to take down his cab number so I could send compliments abt him to Comfort..

I actually got a little lost in Clarke Quay, but vaguely remembering the route I took with Laibao before, I managed to find my way to the MRT station, where we were supposed to meet. Baoqin, Betty, Shufen, Evelyn, Don, Aaric, Nik, Weisong and Ron turned up. Soon, everyone arrived, and we made our way to look for somewhere to have dinner at. Most of us haven't changed much, except for Aaric, who was in Armani hairstyle when he used to have long hair.

At first, we suggested going to RennThai for some Thai food, but the gals decided that it was too expensive there, so we changed our mind and went to some Indonesian seafood restaurant (forgot the name of the restaurant). We ordered some BBQ seafood combo set. The sample shown in the posters and menu didn't look very appetizing, but I found it delicious when I had the 1st bite.

After dinner, most of them decided to leave so we parted. Dunno if the outing can be considered a success, cuz we did get to meet after all, but didn't really get to tok much to one another, especially between the guys and the gals.

After everyone left, Ron n I looked for Andrew at the arcade, then Jayson came to pick us up, together with Ro. We went to some club at Queenstown to play billiard. We played 2 games each - Aearon vs Jayson, Roland vs Andrew vs me. I got trashed terribly on both games. The table juz seemed so damn big to me sia.. It was quite an interesting game with Ron n Andrew, and we had so much fun laughing n joking ard.

Jayson drove us to Ro's hse after the game, so Ro could get his car as Jayson had to leave. And to the usual place we went - the arcade at Marina Bay. Played ghost squad and I finally got promoted to Captain. Para Para n Percussion Freaks too, as usual. There was once a really fast song on Percussion Freaks where Ron, Ro n mi failed to complete, despite taking only 2 percussions each. This time, with Andrew the CYMBAL PRO taking the cymbals for us, we finally managed to clear that damn song.

At ard 12.15, Ro drove us to Bedok 85 market for supper. After eating and returning to the car, we realized that we juz kenna a summon. Those carpark attendants are scary, sneaking ard at nite to eat $30s from ppl.. We initially thought that it would be free parking on Sunday, onli to realized that it only starts from 7am. What crap..

Woke up today and found myself rushing for my driving lesson. Still feel so damn tired, cuz didn't really slp much throughout the week. I met my instructor at Paya Lebar, den drove to Bishan and Ang Mo Kio, then to Toa Payoh to try some U-turn. Couldn't do quite alot of things with my left wrist down (anything which required me to turn left more than 1/2 round). Made lots of mistakes today, probably cuz I was still feeling damn sleepy. And following that, my instruction started to shout at me and created lots of pressure, and I made even more mistakes cuz of that. Never-ending cycle... Sianzz..

My lesson ended at Toa Payoh Central, and there were stll about 2+ hours before meeting Eddy. Walked around Toa Payoh, and only managed to waste half an hour at most. Feeling that I needed to do something more productive to waste my time, I took 145 all the way to Bugis juz to cut my hair, then walked towards City Hall MRT station via Suntec n CityLink. N guess wad. In the end I was 3 mins late. Eddy thought I would be VERY late and so he went up to the shopping centre above to walk, so in the end I was the one waiting for him. Waahhaa.. After meeting up with him, we went to the area around Peninsula Plaza to see if there was anything to buy for the upcoming cny, then went to some budget shops and 7-eleven to stock up on drinks so we could bring it to Marina South to drink while having our steamboat. There would be no way we were going to pay for the EXPENSIVE drinks there.

We went to Zheng Fa Huo Hai Xian for our steamboat. The place was so damn crowded with people. Luckily it was easy for us to find a table as there were more small tables available than big ones. The staff there were so busy that it took them quite some time to set up everything for us. In the end we even had to carry our own chairs. Anyway we saw this group of gals who screamed n screamed when one of the guys there dunked a jumping-live prawn into the boiling soup. So damn kaopei.. Could feel my eardrums going to shatter into a million fragments anything. After we settled down, we decided to take turns getting our food so we could look after our belongings. Eddy started the ball rolling, and soon we were bbqing and boiling funny stuff.

Contrary to the fact that we went to a live seafood steamboat restaurant, we actually ate more cooked food than bbq'ed or boiled stuff. We acquired 2 cups by making a single order of soyabean drinks, finishing the soyabean, then pouring our stocked Peelfresh juice into the cups under the table so the staff there would not see and confiscate our beloved Peelfresh. For the uncooked food, we actually only touched a small portion of it. Really had no idea of what happened to my appetite today - I surrendered quite early. Eddy didn't last long either. Who knows, they might have put some appeitite-supressants in the food to make us feel full so they can cut cost on their food. Or it might very well be due to the fact that we ate too much starchy or oily stuff. We sat there to tok cok for some time, and gave out our live seafood coupon as we did not redeemed it and did not want to waste it. The lucky 'winner' of that coupon was.. this angmoh guy sitting beside us, accompanied by a chinese couple. I went up to the angmoh and explained in english about wanting to give them the coupon and stuff like that, but he did not seemed to understand mi. I tried speaking to the couple instead, and they didn't understand mi as well. It was only after a while we discovered they were actually chinese nationals who sucked ass in their english language, even that angmoh.

After leaving the restaurant, we went to the arcade next door where I always play Ghost Squad wif Ron n Ro. The reason I went there - Ghost Squad, Para Para and Percussion Freaks again. I tried Ghost Squad with Eddy, and realized how much I need Aearon/Roland after we died in the first mission which was at level 1.. Actually I don't really know how time in the arcade managed to pass so fast. A game of Ghost Squad, Para Para and Percussion Freaks actually took us 1hrs and 45mins all the way from 8 till 9.45. Eddy would be having his ns duty tmr, so we didn't really want to stay there for long. After a long wait and my last game of Percussion Freaks, we went outside and *tried* to wait for the bus. After seeing how crowded each passing bus was, I decided to call my sister and ask her to send Eddy home.

My mum was with my sis when she came (and best part is.. she actually told my sis that I was in Marina Square when I was really in Marina Bay, and caused my sis to look around for me in Marina Square). After sending Eddy back to his hse, we met up wif my dad and went for dinner at Geylang. I was still too full to eat, so I juz sat there and watch them eat. My sis and dad drove home after that, and it was funny to see that my sis actually tried to overtake my dad and how they were trying to out-run each other the moment the traffic light turned green. My sis parked her car at the carpark next to my hse, then we took my dad's car to some temple in Changi, for wadever reason. I'm not a believer, but decided to go with them juz to have a look around. There was this piece of stone there which is said to display 4D numbers to ppl who stare at it.. Doesn't seem to make a lot of sense, but my mum actually squatted there for 15 mins, trying very hard to 'see' the numbers. We went back to the car to wait for her, and went home after that.

Sianzz.. Gotta slp now.. tomorrow still need to wake up quite early.

This morning I was told to have a half day off from work. Was so glad cuz I was quite tired and could finally have some rest.

Initially decided to rest at home in the afternoon, but Ron sms'ed me and asked me if I want to go do some new-year shopping. I chose going out over staying at home, as always.

Met up with Ron at Bugis Parco, and walked around, looking for stuff to buy. I didn't have anything specific on my shopping list, so I juz bought as I shopped. Got a new Billabong wallet to replace the old 'Tough' wallet which was quite tattered, and bought a funky hot pad for my grandma as well.

Next we moved on to Bugis Village. The jeans selling in one of the shops were damn cheap - $18 for a pair. I didn't get any, however, cuz didn't really like the design. Got a T-shirt there which says 'God is busy. Can I help you?' with a devil's face after the line 'God is busy'. Main reason why I liked the shirt is cuz I'm actually tickled by the lame joke on the shirt itself.

We went back to the parking lot at Parco to get Ron's bike, and on the way out, the gate refused to open even though Ron had already paid his parking when coming in. We were trying to figure out wad to do when this stupid truck from behind came and pressurized Aearon, causing him to slot his cashcard into some weird reader and the crap ended up deducting $5+ from his cashcard. Wilson Parking system sux and cocks up. Can remember how Ron was cursing and swearing all the way from Bugis to Beach Road.

We bought a drink at Golden Mile Food Centre, then went up to look for Aearon's shoes. After that I tried going to Soh Brothers' to look for my waterproof pouch, but didn't manage to find one there. Thought I would leave Beach Road empty handed until I finally came across dis sports shop when we were about to leave. Tried my luck there, and managed to get what I want.. woohoo.. can go kayaking with my handphone liao.

Next we went to Suntec and I went to get some car-racing VCDs for my sis and for myself. Quite cheap, $25 for 3 pieces. Only thing is the damn thing is in jap with subtitle in chinese, and I can't read chinese. But who cares anyway, I juz wanna watch the cars.. Anyway I went to Nokia Care to try to get my N-Gage earpiece repaired/replaced, but they say my warranty does not cover it cuz the button on the earpiece is missing. Dammit.. Not like as if I took it out and threw it away on purpose.. Instead of buying an expensive N-Gage headset, I decided to try to get a cheap normal earphone instead. Got a decent Panasonic one for $13. We walked around to look for Ron's new year clothes, and went to the Esplanade after that, to look for some books at the library. I owe Aearon 100 pushups for losing the bet that the national library is at Esplanade =P

Ro, Guan n Andrew had reached Suntec a little while later, and we went back to Suntec, getting Ron's book at Sans Bookstore along the way. Saw a book entitled 'The Best Guide to Online Dating'.. wahahaha... all sorts of funny crap stuff, which might be 'useful' for Ro and mi..

After meeting up wif the rest at Carrefoure, we went for dinner, then to Tower Records for a little while, and finally to the arcade upstairs. Tried DDR with Ron, which I did very badly as usual. Later on we went to try out dis new machine called 'Martial Beat', whereby they play some music and have a martial arts demonstrator on the screen and u juz have to mimic what the demonstrator does. Ro pro in that wo!! We had a good laugh at how we play. Anyway dis gal came up to Ron and asked him to play DDR with her. Too bad the gal not chio.. Aearon play till he sweat so much, but we played another 2 games after that. Chose wrong song and wasted one coin.. damn.. We oso continued to try that Martial Beat thingy until 10+ then went outside to sit down, tok cok and make 'MTV's with my fone.. wahaha.. "Y got that *orgasm* look??" (quoted from Guan). Later on my sis came and fetch me and they went home.

My sis drove me to Kallang Mac to get some supper for my mum and for myself as well. I applied for some Macdonald membership thing, which gives 5 free burgers upon registration (if u fill in everything). Got some black pepper beef meal. Couldn't resist the temptation and finished mine on the car. Suddenly I realized that Ron's book was still with me, so I decided to go his house to pass it to him later. Brought the Macdonald meal home to my mum, took with me the singlet I'm supposed to pass to Ron, and took my sis's car to his house.

My sis n I still didn't feel like going home, so we decided to catch Seed of Chucky at Plaza Singapura. Reached PS quite early at 1.20 when the show was supposed to be at 1.55. Slacked around, stocked up on some snacks n drinks, then went into the cinema early.

Show was quite lame, but still got quite alot of funny parts (like Tiffany calling the 'Recovery Hotline' and crying over the fone). Still, I tink I would have enjoyed 'Aviator' better.

Finally felt tired after the show, so we decided to go home.

Today work ended early for mi cuz I was having ultrasound treatment in the afternoon. Decided to get Ron n Ro to meet up to play Ghost Squad. The damn ultrasound treatment took so damn long today, but can't really blame the therapist who was on attachment cuz I could tell she really wanted to get to know my condition better. And spent quite alot of time interviewing me. Anyway I was meeting Ro at Marina at 6 and I thought I was gonna be late, but managed to reach there on time. Still, Ro was the one waiting for me, as always. Got to ride in Ro's bike for the 1st time today, with a Hello Kitty sticker right in front of my face thruout the ride (pasted onto Ro's helmet.. wahhaha).

Ron came to meet us later on, and in the meantime we Ghosted quite a number of times, along with one round of Para Para. We played another couple of games after Ron came, and then left for Suntec.

For some weird reason, the time at Suntec seemed to have passed so damn fast. We onli visited a few shops, looked at some items n tried to do some new-year-window-shopping, but it was 9.15 soon, and most shops were starting to close. Wanted to get a new wallet initially, so decided to look around. Wallet Shop closed. OP closed. Think can forget about it. The only place still open was Carrefoure. Liwei called and asked me if I wanted to go Fisherman's Village, but I decided to get back to him after having dinner with Ron n Ro.

We went to have dinner at a kopitiam opposite You Tiao Da Wang at Geylang. Had prawn noodles. The guy taking the order was so damn fucked up. Trying to trick us into ordering the ones with the 'medium' prawns instead of 'regular' prawns, but didn't tell us that the price differs until after quite some while. His business strategy/gimmick failed. Wahaha. But I actually felt so stupid to order a plate of Orh Hiam from him for $8. Maybe I was juz too hungry.

After dinner, we decided to.. see kweis!! Some stupid china pros tried to humiliate me by making fun of my splinted hand when I rudely rejected her and walked away. And there were really some cannot-make-it ones, like one indian who's probably from Sri Lanka. Some of them were really chio though, and we thought abt dis stupid idea about giving them 30 bucks juz to take a pic of them. Of cuz, we were onli toking cock. Walked for a few rounds den went to You Tiao Da Wang for a 2nd round of food. Ordered beancurd, beancurd drinks n You Tiao n some carrot cake which seems more like omelette. Chitchat for quite some time there, then after footing the bill I realized it was already 12+, and Liwei and the rest were already in Fisherman's Village, and I was worried they might leave soon so I decided not to meet them.

Just some thoughts I'd like to share/vent on. Really dun understand y SAF has such a horrible culture. And why people would follow that culture. About being superficial, believing what can only be seen, and being overly-suspicious of ppl, not being sensitive to others' feelings, and having a bigger ego. Before I went NS, I already had this feeling that I'm won't be able to find someone worthy of being a true fren in NS. N so far I'm damn right. N SAF can eat my shit for using propaganda on ppl. Whoever succumbs to those propaganda is a fool.

Another 2 fucked up days at work.. N with some fucked up colleagues/superiors as well. Which makes me hate the army more n more by each passing day. Not like I don't hate the army enough.. I swear that I'm going to dump all my army equipment or anything SAF-related into the rubbish chute after my NS if I'm not liable for reservice. N I'll surely hate anyone who say any good things about SAF (not like SAF have ANY good thing at all to talk about, besides providing a credit card for use at polyclinics and hospitals). N I'll despise anyone who takes on an NS culture.

Work aside, I've made some changes to my blog. Now u can actually add/view comments to each entry in my blog. Hope u guys make use of it.

As expected, my skin is starting to peel real bad cuz of the sunburn. I predicted the peeling to begin on Tues nite. And now I'm proven right.

Lately I'm busy working on something to put up on my website. That's why I haven been writing much in my blog lately. Sorry abt dat, n stay tuned. Should be complete after this week. In the meantime I'll post the "rich" history of the handphones I've used, in chronological order.

1. (1997) Some fucked up Motorola flip-fone. Not the 'Da Ge Da' though. I haven't discovered SMS back then. All I can say is dat the battery life sucks.
2. (1998) A fucked up Ericsson fone. Forgot the model, just remember that it's big n bulky. Battery life sucks too, and I ended up finishing the battery when I was in Europe for 2 weeks, and I forgot to bring my charger with me.
3. (1999) Finally, a not-so-fucked up Ericsson flip-fone. Single-line display only though. I had juz learned to use SMS then, and a single-line SMS is definitely not a leisure to use. School didn't allow handphones then, but I managed to smuggle it in occasionally without getting caught. Anyway I did some stupid modification and screwed the fone up totally.
4. (2000 - 2001) A much better Ericsson flip-fone. Model is T18 or T21 if I remember correctly. Finally, a multi-line display for my SMS needs. The fone had the sad ending of ending up in the hands of the thief who stole my entire pouch along wif the fone n my md player.
5. (2001 - 2002) Nokia 3310. My 1st Nokia fone, which was a bday gift from my sis. The games 'Snake II' and 'Space Impact' n 'Bantumi' were the onli games that could be played on the fone. However, I began to realize that the fone was damn resistant against impact.
6. (2003) Nokia 5210. Was so damn happy when my dad came to me one day and asked if I wanted the fone, cuz it was the exact fone I was aiming for. Shock, splash n dust resistant. Was quite fascinated by the WAP function, and used it to access ICQ.
7. (2003) Nokia 3530. Very similar to the 3310, except it was color-screen, could run Java applications, had MMS, and had polyphonic ringtones. I was aiming for 5100 then, but I juz couldn't resist the urge to join the color-fone community, so I bought this fone for the time being. Anyway, the fone was onli $34 with my Starhub MTVCode plan.
8. (2003 - 2004) Nokia 5100. One of my favorite fones. Basically an upgraded version of the 5210, with color screen, Java capability, radio, MMS n polyphonic ringtones. I bought an infrared port for my PC to transfer stuff into the fone, as well as write programs to run on the fone. Bought the camera headset juz so that I could have a 'camera' with me all the time, but was disappointed at the capture quality. But i still loved the fone so much that I decided not to trade it in after getting my next fone, so I gave the fone away.
9. (2004 - 2005) N-Gage. My first symbian-OS fone, which is really power-packed to the brim. The MP3 quality really rocks, and I installed lots of funny funny stuff like a Javascript-enabled web browser, a MSN messenger client, etc. In fact I can say that it doubles up as my 'portable computer'. The bulk and sidetalking of the fone juz can't bring down the fact dat dis is a great fone.
10. (2004 - 2005) Nokia 7610. Another symbian-OS fone, which I use together with my N-Gage. personally I still prefer N-Gage over dis fone, but at the same time attracted by the megapixel camera and newer OS version of this fone.

Was totally shagged out by yesterday's activities, so I refused to pull myself out of bed until 2.30pm. Basically did nothing for the entire afternoon, except surf abit of net and played abit of games.

Went Ron's hse in the evening, browsed around his MP3s while waiting for him to get prepared, and took his motorbike to Marina South to meet Ro, as usual on a typical Sunday evening. Played.. U should have guessed.. Ghost Squad, Para Para n Percussion Freaks. Stayed there till 11, before Ron n Ro sent mi home.

My sunburn really hurts like hell.. N my wrist seem to hurt more after the kayaking session yesterday. But have to enjoy myself while I can, cuz I dunno how long I won't be able to kayak after my operation.

Really can't stand having a disabled wrist. Should have told the doctor to let me go for the operation immediately instead of trying out physiotherapy =(..

Long Day

Had a REALLY long day today. Woke up at 10.30, n started rushing to pack my stuff for kayaking. It's been more than half a year since i've last kayaked, thanks to the organization i bear deep hatred for - SAF. I was supposed to meet Zhihong at the Changi Village market at 11.30, but i reached at 12 juz becuz i missed a bus n had to wait for like 20 mins for the next. Zhihong had finished his lunch by the time i reached there, n he was juz standing there waiting for me.

Without any delay, we made our way to Changi Sea Sports Club. Quite alot had changed there. First, the construction site opposite the club has turned into an empty patch of grass field. I noticed that the partitions in the bathroom has been demolished as well, replaced by a new open-concept style. Administration-wise, there's no longer a need to sign the log book, and the kayak number will be assigned to u when u make ur rental. N Zaik seems to have lost weight as well. Mingteck, though, still remains the same. Naggy as usual.. wahahah.. but still the great teacher down there.

Soon, we got all our stuff n set out to the canal behind the club to look for Mingteck n to let Zhihong practise his skills as well. For mi, I've somehow lost touch of my hand-rolls. Couldn't manage to do any until later on. Lost my hanging draw completely. Wonder how i'm going to go for my 4-star river n 5-star open-sea..

At around 2, we left our kayaks on the grass-patch n went back to the club to rest n chitchat for a while, only to be nagged at the moment we got back for leaving our kayaks there n not turning them around n stuff like that. Luckily Mingteck didn't see it or we're gonna get nagged at for the entire afternoon there. Aniwae, we went out to the sea. The waves were like damn huge as compared to when I last came. Talk abt tsunamis.. Maybe the huge waves are just the effects of the recent tsunami.

Despite my problematic wrist, I could still paddle rather quickly. Did stupid things like chasing the waves, just sitting there and watching Zhihong, n talking cock wif him at the same time. Some rough sand got into my kayak and throughout, I rubbed my heels against the sand a number of times and ended up with a bad blister. I was starting to feel the sunburn, though my eyes were still rather resilient against the sea-water. I suggested leaving early to avoid having to squeeze into a crowded bathroom with the trainees. We left shore at around 4.30, washed up our equipment n went to bathe. Good thing we managed to finish up before the trainees even started to stream in. Aniwae, I juz sat at the bench to feed the mosquitoes and wait for Zhihong to finish shitting. After feeding enuf mosquitoes, we went to the market to grab some food, and to check on the Choon Huat gals at the same time. We were disappointed - cuz they weren't around.

I took a bus n reached home at 6.45, hoping to get some rest before meeting Ron n Ro later on in the nite. However, Laibao suggested going out, so I was like 'ahh.. okay..' Can never resist the temptation to go out, walk walk, see stuff, n have fun. We met the same time and place as we did yesterday. 7.45 at Aljunied MRT platform. I quickly took a shit n rushed out once again. We went Orchard today. Initially I wanted to go to the Bloomington at Heeren's to get the ant's nest, but decided that spending $40 on an ant's nest isn't that worth it after all. Wanted to buy some other weird 'artifacts' (like the coin shrinker or anti-gravity top), but managed to resist the temptation to spend the $. In the end, spent more on eating at KFC, den Mac. But had to control my calorie intake liao cuz I've eaten very heavily for the past few days, so I decided to be more forgiving at Mac's n had a simple ice-cream cone. We walked around till 10.15, and I decided it was time to go meet Ron n Ro, so we headed for the MRT Station. Talked more cock as usual, before Laibao went off the train. Next stop - Changi Village (or Tanah Merah + bus).

Ron, Ro n Jayson were at sitting at Airfield Restaurant when I reached Changi Village. Could tell they've just gorged on a round of Tim Sum, judging from the empty Tim Sum containers on the table, as well as chilli-sauce-stained plates n empty cans of Jia Jia Liang Teh. Decided to abstain from anymore eating, but didn't manage to resist and ended up ordering some chicken paus, shrimp dumplings n hakka tofu in the end. Good ting got Ro help me finish off.. wahhaha.. We sat there, watched soccer, made comments about a lady who looked like a pig, n bio gals (n bapoks) till 12+ den went around to see bapoks. Spotted the one who scolded Gary the other time, but the angmoh-like one was hardly around. 1 round of walking + 3 rounds of driving around the circuit was enough, and we decided to go look for some place with pool or billiard. Went Tampines and the K-Pool over there seem to have closed. The one at Katong Shopping Centre seemed to have closed as well. In the end we went to Megapool. Jayson was driving us, and I must really have sucked at directing him.. 'turn left, turn right, turn left'.. Almost directed him into the wrong place a number of times. Miracle that we reached Megapool in the end.. Really miss that place, considering how long I've not been there for. Hope can go there pak pool with Eddy soon, juz like before. Aniwae we played a number of games till the place closed at 3, den Jayson drove mi and the rest home.

Now my whole body is aching. Going to get some rest now.

stupid camp.. today friday supposed to knock off at 5 den dunno y everyone delay until 6.30 den leave camp.. reach home 7 liao..

went home, shit, change n pack my stuff, den went down to aljunied mrt station platform to meet Laibao. at dat point of time, we haven even decided where to go.. it was onli when the train passed by bugis dat we remember we haven decide.. so, we decided on bugis in the end.

i still dun understand my recent attraction towards toy stores. seems like i wanna go into every toy store n look at every single piece of toy down there, save, hello kitty n barbie doll. wanted to look for dat ant's nest (yes, for rearing REAL ants.. they can go in but can't come out), but was disappointed to find out that they dun sell it. continued down to v8 to look at some electronics. planning to get a digital camera with optical zoom. no good deals there. aniwae we juz walked ard, wif Laibao attracted towards cd shops n vcd shops as usual.

was getting kindda famished, but i wanted to let Laibao try subway, so we headed towards suntec. didn't go to the subway at shaw tower cuz i haven been to the one at suntec for ages. passed by auntie annie's along the way, n i grabbed a pretzel juz out of curiosity as i've never tried it before.

we passed by the fountain of wealth as well, n i was talking lots of crap abt why we should not touch the fountain - about bangalahs wiping their asses wif their hands n touching the fountain, abt ppl who live in the drain coming to touch the fountain (of cuz i was exaggerating), etc.. when we reached subway, Laibao had no idea on how to order tings there, so i ordered mine so Laibao could c. had a teriyaki chicken sandwich n 2 cookiez. i was like gonna burst after eating that in addition to the pretzel i've had earlier on. n to tink that those old folks always say that u can never get full on bread...

after our subway, we decided to walk around. found an IT show crap in the halls of suntec, n decided to have a look-see to see if i can find any good digital cameras. i managed to find a good one (canon powershot n some model number) at $349. catch is, it's a time limited offer which would end in 2 days time, n i have to wait until i collect my angpao before i can buy it. dammit. then i experienced a very sucky feeling again - tink it's due to the coke i took at subway, i kept having to go to the toilet =(..

most of the shops had closed by then, n we still wanna walk, so i suggested esplanade n the river there. partial reason was i wan Laibao to listen to some funny, but vulgar, ringtones, n we haf to find a spot where sound wouldn't project so easily. earlier on i had tried to let Laibao listen to one of them, onli to press someting wrong n the volume went haywire n it was too late before i could turn the volume off. hope no one remembers our faces. aniwaez, we made our way to esplanade via citylink.

i came across this chocolate shop at the esplanade, and they were have some chocolate-coated fresh strawberries, n i decided to give it a shot. not very cheap though, $5 for 6 strawberries. but ahh.. it's ok to spend once in a while.. went to the river outside to walk, till we come across the merlion. considering it's so-called reputation, it's funny to see that there's actually an openable hatch on the merlion's back.. too bad i've forgotten to take a photo =(.. i've took lots of other pics though, including one shot to see if my camera fone can manage to capture the nite sky. i'll post them all up one day.

at ard 11, we started making our way back to city hall, buying n eating some ice-cream along the way. when we arrived at city hall mrt station, it wasn't the last train yet. took it back to aljunied with Laibao, then took a bus from Ho Kee Pau bus-stop.

waiting for Eddy to finish his field camp n book out nxt week so we can go eat Ho Kee Pau together.

another home-staying day, except went to hospital for a while in the afternoon for my physiotherapy.. today the doctors decided to try to use ultrasound treatment for my hand.. no feeling at all.

come home, play doom3 den abit of halflife n halflife2. my bro n his fren Sam was watching mi play, so i wouldn't get scared dat easily. aniwae i decided to give up playing doom3 liao.. sucky game.. play until i so pek cek.

went arcade wif Ron n Ro at nite. played ghost squad, para para, beatmania n percussion freaks. for ghost squad, i decided to be adventurous n used a pistol-like weapon.. found out dat my accuracy actually increased, but i landed in total hot soup after Aearon died n i had to play alone. for percussion freaks, we wanted to try some of the hard songs.. the 1st hard song we tried almost made me faint.. the bars were moving like SO DAMN FAST..

went home at ard 12. so sian now.. tinking of how i'm going to live the rest of my ns life.. cuz half a year already move so slow.. still got around 18+ months to go..

played Doom3 in the day cuz my bro was around n could get him to watch mi while i play so i wun feel so scared.. slack ard, do nth.. boring day cuz by right cannot go out when i'm on mc.

went ron's hse dwnstairs to eat dinner n dessert.. had a bowl of red bean n a bowl of qing teng.. from Ro's auntie's store.. den chat quite alot, n den went Ro's hse play mahjong together wif Ron.. couldn't find the 4th player, so we played the 3-player style.. removed all the 'stick' ('shuo') tiles.. instead of money we play using push-ups.. wahahha.. after dat went victoria street eat meepok again..

might be playing again tmr.. right now getting late liao yet i still dun feel like slping.. lots of thoughts going thru my mind.. mostly juz past memories.. sweet memories.. n how to revive them..

whoo~ after so many days nv c the world liao i finally managed to go marina play arcade wif Ron n Ro.. went to Ron's hse 1st for dinner den Roland drove us there. bought my ghost squad card today n tried many tings, like percussion freaks, guitarmania n para para.. played quite alot of para para today.. did funny tings like tag-team wif Aearon (he play beginning den jump off the stage n i jump in n play chorus.. den after dat i jump off again for him to finish off), using legs instead of hands to dance, n pulling Roland up the stage..

mc for 3 days.. dunno is blessing for curse. gd is no nid to go back to dat horrible place for 3 days.. bad ting is i m not supposed to leave my hse during my mc period, which i'm probably not going to conform to, given my restless nature.

Hospitalization

Sorry dat i haven been updating my blog for so long.. Talking abt bad health luck this week, the worst came on friday..

was down wif gastric + diarrheoa earlier on friday, but didn't see the doctor cuz everytime i did, my fucked up colleagues will start saying tings like i'm trying to laze from my work n shit like that.. fuck the army.. by late afternoon i was starting to get a high fever, n felt damn weak n cold. i even fell when walking to pick a phone call. later on someone passed a remark abt me giving excuses from getting a diskette somewhere n i was so pissed i almost passed out. went to an aircon room to slp n teach one of them do some charts. dozed off in the chair.

later on i heard someone trying to wake me up. tried to open my eyes but juz couldn't.. it hurt whenever i juz try to open even a tiny slit in my eye. i tried to open my mouth to speak, but couldn't - cuz i felt very breathless n was breathing very hard. worse of all, my entire body juz felt so numb.. it was like as if i was dead.

felt someone trying to pull me up from the chair, n subsequently a tremendous pain on my legs n hands. worst than any other physical pain i've experienced before.. felt like all my muscles were so tight that they would burst any moment. n can't remember much after dat, juz haf some faint impressions of feeling a horrible coldness n ppl asking me to open my eyes.

when i woke up i found myself in the hospital. the doctor told me some stuff i couldn't understand n placed me on drip. my mum n my sis were here.

later on i was transferred to a ward to stay. my first thoughts were 'oh shit.. wkend wasted..'.. aniwae i managed to walk right rather soon though there was some kind of cramp in my calf.. n i looked like a crab walking sideways. went to the toilet, changed into the stupid patient clothes n accepted the horrible fate of having to spend my fri nite or even the whole of saturday in a hospital. was so damn tired after the entire episode, so i slept soundly throughout the night, besides waking up to eat some food my dad brought, n to go for my xray.

lots of new patients were suddenly admitted into my ward the next morning. this swarm of doctors then surrounded me n started bombarding me wif questions like 'did u feel numbness?', 'did u see white spots of light?', etc. at about late afternoon, my family came to visit me, n to pass me my other hp. tings were starting to get quite boring, so i decided to sleep till evening. my mum came back in the evening with my earpiece n charger, so tings was starting to get better. soon the visiting hours were over, but i was very sure Ron n Ro would come. whoo.. indeed.. we talked quite alot of crap n soon the nurse came to 'invite' them out cuz maybe she cannot stand our crap.. after they left i juz stucked my earpiece into my ears n listened to music until abt 11.. tried to slp but couldn't, probably due to too much sleep in the afternoon n the discomfort caused by the stupid drip. tried to sweettalk the melayu nurse into removing the drip a couple of times, but she keeps saying 'doctor sae cannot'..

tossed n turned around in bed till ard 2 before getting knocked out. the doctor came soon after i woke up. considering that the ONLY good ting abt staying in the hospital is the food at cgh, i decided to trick the doctor into discharing me today.
'any pain?': 'no.'..
'cough better?': 'yes..' (wtf.. i never had a cough until dis morning).
'still got diarrheao?': 'no..'..
'alrite.. tink u can be discharged today. u stay at home and rest for the next 3 days.'
was kindda happy when i heard that. 3 days of mc in exchange for 1.5 days of wkend. i sms'ed my sis immediately, n prepared to pack my stuff. soon she came n drove me home.

and all this was just before i started typing this, besides the incident abt my bichir jumping out from his tank n i thought that a snake had juz made its way into my house n me having a hard time catching him cuz i was worried he might slither away if i try to grab it with my hands (my bichir can move DAMN fast on land.. tried n tested.).
