Finally!! My Bday Chalet!!

Fri, 22nd Oct 2004:

Nan de can get a day off from work.. so song.. regardless, it was still quite a bz day, with a number of tasks on my To-Do list. Went to simlim to get a new PS/2 controller for Herman, since his old controller spoiled when it was on-loan to me. After that, went to Parco QB for a nice haircut b4 my sis came to pick me up.

Sis drove me to parkway to buy a new cabinet as well as the drinks for the on-coming chalet. got some soya bean n green tea, as well as a pack of Corona n Tiger. The car was fully loaded on the way home, mostly due to the stupid cabinet.

Went home, assembled the cabinet, packed my bag, n tu abit before rushing for time to transport the food n stuff to the chalet.. approaching 10.30pm.. n parents kaopeiing already..

Whoa! finally reached the chalet.. my bro n his frens were there already.. unpacked my stuff n slacked ard till Gary came. Looks like he lost his way n onli reached quite late at ard 1+.. since i brought along Herman's ps2 wif mi, i played abit of FF10 while waiting for him.. n the kidz were fascinated by the game, the aeons, anima, etc.. finally Gary reached.. n had some crazy idea abt going changi village eat n c bapok.. sounds fun aniwae, so my bro n his frens n mi agreed wif it..

Gary n mi ordered wanton mee, n shared a plate of fried wanton, while my bro n his frens ordered chicken rice. Eating there juz reminded me of the days when i ate there wif my kayaking frens.. shiok.. n after dat.. went to c bapok.. got one bapok figure like quite chio n Gary was peering at 'shim', but couldn't see clearly.. n poke his head ard, n even borrowed my glasses.. n the bapok didn't look happy... n when he said 'hey! come here..' he kenna scolded.. "WHAT??! WHAT THE FUCK U WAN??!?".. wahaha.. nv knew bapok so fierce..

aniwae Gary drove us back, n we played some ps2 games till 5+.. n went upstairs to sleep.. my bro n his frens took the soft mattresses, while Gary n mi took the hard mattresses.. he slp look like cat sia.. at around 8+ my fone started ringing n it was Shaoqi calling to tok kok.. n apparently i disturbed Gary's slp.. n he was pissed.. wahahah..

Sat, 23rd Oct 2004:

at around 9, Gary drove us back to changi village for breakfast, drove me back to the chalet, n went home. slowly, everyone went home to rest, n i was the onli one left in the chalet.. nth much to do, so i juz walked around, played some ps2, n listened to some music.. from 11 all the way till 4pm.. finally, the 1st guest came - my aunt n cousin.. she came to help with the food, n i must say tings wouldn't have gone so well without her.. soon after, Sean n one of his frens came.. den Kimhai.. den Gabriel.. n more, n more..........

While going to the clubhouse to buy some snacks, i met Eddy's parents.. woohoo!.. they were trying to find their way to my unit, but somehow got lost. brought 'em back, n soon, at ard 6, dinner was started.

more people than i imagined came - Eddy's parents, my relatives, parents, siblings, Jackson, Yankai, Yanjun, Weihao, Laibao n Yongjian, Weikang n Jackson, Raymond, Gabriel, Kimhai, Sean, Junlei, Weihsien, n later on, Gary came back.. Was damn happy, n appreciate everyone who came.. So for those who came, if u're reading this, I'd like to express a big THANKS for coming!.. Only pity was Eddy didn't manage to turn up cuz he was having field camp.

Aniwae, i was happy to be busy zapping ard, getting drinks for everyone n all dat.. it was getting late n i was abt to cut the cake when i remembered dat Ron n Ro weren't here yet.. i hesitated for awhile, but decided to go for it.. i was abt to light the candles when i remembered that Jackson n the rest had gone to the arcade n i've forgotten to call them back! wahaha.. i onli called them after finish lighting the candles.. so damn funny.. cuz when they came back the candle was half-burned, n i still dilly-dallied on taking pics n all dat.. but in the end managed to blow the candles b4 the candle was completely burned.. phew!

Being an amateur cake-cutter, i ended up having to get my aunt to cut the cake for me.. but it was nice being able to pass pieces of cakes to so many ppl.. at ard 11, most of them had left.. except for gabriel n raymond. we played DDR for a bit, but after a while, someone was approaching the door.. n.. it was Aearon n Ro! woohoo! felt so damn happy to see them, after soon long nv c them liao.. we started to tok cok n play taidee outside, while gabriel n raymond were playing winning 11, n my bro was dunno doing wad.. sitting alone, staring into space wif a can of Tiger. Ron saw it n went 'eh.. ur bro so sard!'.. lolx.. aniwae Ro did a really gd job of helping mi clear the cake.. wahahha

after some time, we decided to go indoor n play winning-11.. but we had onli one controller, so Gabriel came up wif dis mad idea abt playing winning-11 using the DDR mat.. n Gabriel was so damn pro.. can tong so long wif the mat.. haha..

when it was quite late ard 3+, Ron n Ro had to go.. went to see them off, n had a little ride on Ron's bike.. after i went back to the chalet, my bro had invited another group of frens.. Sam, Sam's fatso-lian sister, n the chiobu Stella.. Gabriel n mi had dis idea of turning off the lights, turning on some techno, n dancing in the chalet.. n halfway, dat fatso came up wif lots of negative comments.. n my sis came back.. n we were tulan wif her.. still dare to tok cok abt cockroaches flying when pregnant, etc.. the 4 of us (my sis, gabriel, raymond n mi) kept our belongings in a safe place, n went out for a walk instead.. passed by the beach, golf course. went back to the sofa at the clubhouse to tok cok n jisiao Raymond.. wahahah..

by the time we went back, dat fat ahlian was already snoring like a pig.. we did a little bit of packing up n had a little nap.

Sun, 24th Oct 2004

Woke up at 8, n realized dat it would soon be checkout time. My sister was already up n packing the stuff, so we went to help. meanwhile dat ahlian was upstairs the room, slping like a pig.. n refusing to wake up.. we were already quite pissed wif her for blocking us here n there when we were trying to pack.. but it was soon over.. my sis drove Raymond, Gabriel, my bro n mi out, while my bro's frens went out themselves. dropped Raymond n Gabriel at their houses, n went home.. was quite surprised dat i could still put up wif the past 2 days' lack of slp, n onli slept at 10pm dat nite.

Really loved it.. n hope u guys enjoyed urselves at the chalet!
